About Campsite

Welcome to KiudKad - The Last Resort! First things first, we’re not a resort!

KiudKad is an artist’s commune in the middle of nowhere run by a ragtag assembly of free-spirited characters—the Daldagoons.

It’s a sandbox for adventurous souls who want to experience nature in its purest form! Enjoy Ridge to Reef activities ranging from trekking the seemingly endless rolling cogon hills, to free-diving the live coral reefs, or chilling at the surrounding cream-colored beach!

Kiudkad is found in Barangay San Ramon (Daldagon), a pacific-facing sleepy fishing community in the Municipality of Siruma, Camarines Sur in the Philippines.

But be warned: Our home is not for everyone. It’s not what you’d call luxurious. It’s quiet, raw, and unapologetic. But if you want to experience off-grid living in the middle of paradise, then this is the place for you.

Again, we’re not a resort.

This is our home and our hideaway, but we do welcome like-minded people! We are happy to share our home and our experiences with you.

How to get there

“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”

KiudKad is approximately 70 kms. (a 2-hour drive) from Naga City. 90% of the roads are paved save for the remaining 7km of gnarly mud-rut-riddled trails that’ll lead you to paradise.

The recommended transport must be 4x4, have high ground clearance, and with mud or all terrain tires.

Dirt bikes are also welcome but only if you have the necessary skill to negotiate the difficult terrain.

We can also provide off-road shuttles that run from Naga City to Barangay Daldagon (roundtrip) for an additional cost—the shuttle has a maximum of 7 people.

Accommodations & Rates

Like we said, Kiudkad is our home and not a resort. Hence, we limit the number of tourists in the area (less footprint), thus Kiudkad is strictly by reservation only. No walk-ins, please!

When you book a house, you get exclusive access to the whole property—a white-sand beach, numerous sunset and picnic spots and its surroundings.

I can't praise enough the brains behind the development of this property! Despite the remoteness of the property, the owner spared no expense in making sure guests would be comfortable and have everything they needed. We stayed a night at the hobbit house. The house is on a cliff facing the ocean, the view is gorgeous. The interior had been decorated will all sorts of trinkets and antiques that suggests the owner was some kind of hunter or adventurer. This house comes fully furnished with everything you would need, from cast iron kitchen ware to printers (although they don't have a washing machine). They have wifi, i was surprised they did, considering there isn't even reception within 10km from the place. They also have stable source of electricity via off grid solar systems. Kiudkad is certainly one of the better resort/bnb i have been to, and i was impressed with what they did to the place. Highly recommended if you like to chill in remote places with the comforts of city living!
