A camp and picnic place in front of the Pacific Ocean. Takes pride on its front view access to a tidal pool and a long stretch of white sand beach.
As a tourism business, we would like our guests to feel that the distance travelled and time and money spent are all worth it at the end of their trip.
One of the ways we do to achieve it is to let customers know what they can expect prior to their stay.
We are in a remote location. It's best if you get here using 4x4s or SUVs. Road construction is still ongoing, though. Land travel is fairly manageable for any vehicles as long as the weather is good.
You can still get there by boat. We highly recommend to use the Brgy. Esteves port. In 30 minutes or less, you'll get to Dalugan. Boat fare is around 500-1K. Feel free to ask our help in booking your boat. We know trustworthy and hardworking boat men.
Our location is still not energized. We also have no available generators at the moment. We're only able to provide solar lamps for lighting at night.
Mobile signal is also almost non-existent. There's only a very weak signal of Smart which you will find if you're patient enough to search along the rock formations.
So, you can't post your swimsuit photos in real time or do a live while you're swimming in the tidal pool.
Currently, we're categorized by DTI as a camping and picnic place, not as a resort. We have three cottages suitable for a day tour or picnic and one cottage with a bunk bed for overnight stay. There's a common bathroom. One for men and another for women.
If sleeping on a bunk bed or a tent and using a shared bathroom is uncomfortable for you, we highly recommend that you spend the night in El Oceano Casiguran Resort which is located in Brgy. Cozo. It's an hour or less away from us. They have tour guides who can accompany you to our location for a day tour. We would only charge you P50 each for entrance fee.
Also, if you prefer a luxurious stay, we would recommend Dianao Beach Club and Resort located in the adjacent town of Dilasag. They have nice suites and an infinity pool among others. From there, you can travel for two hours by land to experience what our place has to offer.
There are no available restaurants or eatery in the vicinity. When locals come here, they bring picnic baskets filled with ready-to-eat food.
If you're a tourist coming from the city like Manila, you may want to bring food with you. If you want to eat fresh and local food, you can buy fishes, lobsters, and other seafood from the local fishermen. This is not guaranteed to be available all day, though. Depending on your budget, you can hire a local to cook for you.
Seasoned campers and overlanders bring cook tops and other cookwares with them. If you don't have those, you can rent from us at a very reasonable price.
Also, there are only few sari-sari stores nearby. So make sure you bring with you all of your essentials and all the things that will make you feel comfortable. It's also best if you bring insect repellants and mosquito nets to avoid having insect bites for souvenir.
If you want a quiet retreat, to commune with nature, to swim in a tidal pool along with tiny fishes, to see eagles gliding above the trees, to watch the moon rise and sunrise, you may like our place.
If you want a very comfortable and luxurious stay, we're not the best place to be yet.
We're hoping though to be able to improve our facilities and amenities so you can enjoy the beautiful nature at our location while still maintaining a good level of comfort.
Casiguran may re-open to tourists soon, however, given the circumstances mentioned above, we would recommend that you schedule your trip once the wet season is over. The ideal time to come here is during the dry season, which usually begins here around mid-February.
